Every week for 26 weeks, RTR FM 92.1 will highlight a great career, from A-Z by speaking to industry experts and graduates who are in their dream job.

Listen to RTR FM 92.1 every Thursday at 10.40am to hear about a great career, then be emailed a question about the career of that week. Answer it correctly and you could win double movie passes or a $50 iTunes music card.
Answer 15 or more questions correctly over the entire 26 weeks of the A-Z Great Careers program and automatically go in the draw to win an iPod prize package valued at nearly $1000.

Developed in conjunction with practising teachers and in response to teachers' requests, a new Graduate Certificate of Behaviour Management is being introduced by ECU's School of Education starting in 2007.
The course is a four unit postgraduate qualification at Masters level and will recognise students' prior learning as well as incorporating opportunities for credit towards units through Credentialed Professional Learning.
It aims to:

Enhance behaviour management skills (a strong focus of the course is on skill development and practice); |

Develop supportive peer networks; |
| · |
Increase knowledge of challenging behaviours and a range of effective responses; |
| · |
Extend awareness and knowledge of current research related to behaviour management. |

Hollywood star and WAAPA graduate Hugh Jackman (pictured below right) is urging aspiring local young actors to enter a once in a lifetime talent competition for 16 to 19 year olds.
Storm the Stage 2006 will showcase up and coming stars in drama and musical theatre to some of Australia’s leading entertainment representatives. Major prizes include $5000 cash and exclusive auditions with Australia’s leading television productions like Channel 7’s Home and Away.
2005 winners Kelly Paterniti and Scott Sheridan have made the most of the competition experience including opportunities to audition for Neighbours, Home and Away and McLeod’s Daughters.
Rotary Western Australia will be running heats in all regions statewide and supporting local winners to make it to the State Final later this year. The National Storm the Stage Grand Final will be held at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in November.

Ryan Brown is the envy of his friends and classmates.
As the lucky winner of the ECU Study@nywhere competition WIN!, he is now sporting a brand new IBM ThinkPad X41 Tablet around campus.
Ryan is enrolled in ECU's University Preparation Course which finishes mid-year. Already making full use of his new laptop, he is keen to transfer into the Business and Accounting degree in second semester.
All students who purchased a laptop through the ECU Advantage program were entered into the competition to win the laptop and accessories, donated by Lenovo and valued at more than $3000.
